David, owner of "Bellucci's House of Poker" on Portola Drive, was severely beaten while asleep inside of his home.  David frequented a neighboring business, "Skinny McDoogle's" on Portola Drive. He also had ties with the Los Altos community dating back to the 1960's, and was the former owner of the Adobe Creek Lodge in Los Altos Hills.
