Sergeant Ross oversees the operation of the Service Center.
The San Lorenzo Valley Sheriff’s Service Center
is located at the Zayante Station Office Complex, 6060 Graham Hill Road at East Zayante Road. The
Service Center houses the Service Center Sergeant, Sheriff's
Volunteer Coordinator Jackie Hart, SLV School Resource Deputy, a large core
group of volunteers, and a Community Service Officer (CSO). The Sheriff’s Center also houses a community conference room, which is available to
service groups in the San Lorenzo Valley. The Service Center shares the lower portion of the building with the Santa Cruz County Planning Department.
The Service Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00

The San Lorenzo Valley Service Center has one of the largest groups of volunteers,
who assist in coordinating a wide range of activities. These dedicated volunteers handle a
large portion of telephone calls coming into the center,
and
assist with report writing, vacation
and neighborhood watch programs, vehicle abatement activities,
and referral
services. These volunteers contribute
approximately
2,500
hours annually to the service center.
