The Records/Warrants Division is a 24-hour operation. Assistance is provided to the dispatching communication
center and State Parks, as well as to the other police agencies in Santa Cruz County.
Warrants for Santa Cruz County are
located in Records and must be personally confirmed for all hits statewide and nationwide.
The Division processed over 12,175 new incident and crime reports in
2005.
In March of 1999, a document imaging system was put into operation
to store cases and arrest files.
