The Sheriff’s Activity League (SAL) Overview of Programs

The Sheriff’s Activity League offers your child
a choice of 5 different fun and healthy programs at various times throughout the year.
All of our programs are completely free to participants and many include meals,
equipment or transportation.  Our goal is to provide fun, healthy and productive
activities to keep kids engaged in positive ways with each other, the Sheriff’s Office
and the community. We hope to influence children to not join criminal gangs,
commit crimes or experiment with illegal drugs, but to become productive members
of this beautiful beach community.

With SAL’s Mission Statement in mind, we partner with community members
to provide the following activities:

Jr. Giant’s Baseball
Every Saturday, July through August

Driscoll’s Soccer
Every Tuesday and Thursday,
March through May

Dirt bike Program
 Year round & ongoing

Horseback Riding
4 Saturdays in June
and 4 Saturdays in October

Surfing Program with an Annual Gromfest
Last weekend in August

SAL also sponsors many more community activities for kids, giving funds to Little Leagues,
a LaCrosse team and other soccer teams.
